Starting the Calendar Year 2007-2008, inmediately after the Grand American 2007, Deer Creek Trap will host a monthly competition. The objective is to expose shooters to the competition environment and take more seriously the 100 registered bird monthly shoots.
The shoots will take place on the same day of the 100 Registered birds
100 birds will be shot during the competition
Trophies will be awarded only to the first 3 places - no class trophies will be awarded. Trophies can be medals, cups, prices - free rounds, T-shirts, shells etc.
Each month Deer Creek will hold a different event. One month will be doubles, the next singles and/or Handicap. There will not be an specific order since the events will be assigned at random.
A minimum of 2 Squads will be required to have a valid competition.
The fee will be $ 30 that include: cost of targets, ATA and ASTA fees, and Deer Creek Trap Range Daily fees.
After the competition the shooter can also shoot 100 birds in each modality (excluding what was shot during the competition). The other birds shot after the competition can also be registered.
